Job Description	Department Description : Join Oracle's Diameter Signaling Router development team to create central nervous system of the new Diameter network, which relies on the Diameter protocol to exchange network, subscriber, policy, and charging information supporting mobile data activity. Oracles Diameter Signaling Router centralizes routing, traffic management and load-balancing tasks to create an architecture that enables your IMS and LTE networks to grow incrementally to support increasing service and traffic demands. Job Description: This is a Senior Software developer position that will involve the following : Design, develop, and test networking software using C++, PHP, MySQL API. Provide technical leadership to offshore development team. Review escalated field issues. Review and write root-cause analysis documents for field issues if necessary. Participate in software design and design discussions to improve the software performance, maintainability, serviceability, and reliability Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following areas are required: 5-8+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Development using C++, PHP, MySQL API Network Programming, TCP/IP Linux Application Development, Build, and Installation Multi-threaded and Multi-processor Application Design Scripting Languages (PHP, Perl, Python, BASH, etc.) Client/Server Databases such as MySQL Automated Testing Techniques Web-based Development (XHTML, CSS, XML, XSL, DTD/Schema, etc.) Ability to multi-task and handle changing priorities. Knowledge of software development methodology, build tools and product life cycle. Excellent team skills, can-do attitude, focus on quality and drive to make a difference in a dynamic, fast paced organization. BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following are preferred: OAM&P Graphical User Interface Design and Implementation Database Modeling and Design Network and Equipment Security Requirements and Implementation Client and Server Applications (HTTP, Telnet, FTP, SSH, SOAP, and XML-RPC, etc.) Network Management Applications (SNMP, CORBA, CMIP, etc.) Diameter Protocol High Availability and Redundant Systems Java-based Applications
Desired Profile	Detailed Description and Job Requirements Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
