Job Description	Brief Introduction about Enterprise Build Team Enterprise Build Team in Release Operations is a centralized team within Oracle PeopleSoft. This is an extremely visible team within PeopleSoft organization and comes with unique opportunities and challenges. Our excellent knowledge of PeopleSoft Applications is used to build/package and deliver our software across multiple database platforms and in multiple languages. Our advanced troubleshooting capabilities ensures the integrity and availability of our master databases What would you be doing as a Build/Release Engineer @ Oracle Development? - Will be responsible for doing regular Application Builds across all Product Lines of Oracle|PeopleSoft (HCM, CRM, ELM, FSCM, EPM, CS, Portal) and PeopleTools Database Builds. - Will be responsible for doing Packaging and creating Oracle Virtual Appliance (OVA) for PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) Image for PeopleSoft 9.2 Release onwards. - Will be responsible for Relup, troubleshooting and fixing PeopleSoft environment related issues on the Build environments and activities.Around 70% - Doing Application Database Builds for all supported Peoplesoft application and releases. - Doing PeopleTools Database builds for all supported releases.Creating PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) Images for Release 9.2 onwards. These PUM Images are posted out to the external customers and hence should be of extremely high quality. PUM environments are totally based on Linux and hence will require good working knowledge and understanding of Linux systems.  - Analyzing/Troubleshooting any build issues reported and working closely and interacting with the development teams/Release Managers to ensure quality and timely builds.  - Around 10-20%Doing Database Tools Relups and handing/maintaining internally Build Automation Tools and Systems.  - Working closely with the DBA and development team to address any of the Build automaton issues.  - Setting up local Middle Tier with EM-Hub etc and codeline for required activities.  - Around 5-10% Automation development and testing of various in-house build/packaging activities using scripts. Internal documentation and verification of new activities and processes. Desired Skills and Experience What do you need to be a Build/Release Engineer @ Oracle Development?  - In depth knowledge on PeopleTools. Change Assistant, Application Designer, DataMover, Database Connectivity/Query tools-SQL Plus, Linux scripting.  - Experience in Database Build and Release Engineering activities.  - 7years of overall experience with PeopleTools and Oracle Database query tools, SQL.  - PeopleSoft Database Administration including application installation, upgrade/support & troubleshooting experience.  - - Knowledge of SQR and running Application Engine. Knowledge on Webservers and Middleware likes WebLogic, Tuxedo. Strong knowledge of relational database languages including SQL, DML and DDL. Knowledge and hands on experience on Windows, Unix/Linux/Solaris Scripting languages VB Script, DOS Batch files, Unix shell scripting. Thanks Manish
