Programmer Analyst 4-IT - Bengaluru/Bangalore

Job Description	Job Details: As a Principal Consultant within the SCM (Supply Chain Management) group of Applications IT, work with business counterparts to understand business functionality and suggest solutions for specific business conditions within Costing and/or Fulfillment applications. Responsibility for delivery of project deliverables related to the Costing and Fulfillment application areas. Familiarity with Oracle Cost Management and/or Shipping execution mocules. Candidate with strong technical and functional skills and in depth knowledge of application area. Applicant Requirements: - Highly proficient with the PL/SQL programming language. Expert in writing packages, procedures and database triggers. Good knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries involving multiple tables. Hands on experience developing Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports is a plus. - Sound working knowledge of the following modules in oracle Applications - Oracle Inventory, Bill of Materials, Shipping Execution, Engineering and Costing. Should have the knowledge of underlying table structure used by the above modules. Understanding of business flows involving the above modules in projects worked on is a plus. - Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of Oracle Application technical components like Application Object Library (AOL). (Alerts, Concurrent Programs, KFFs, DFFs, Value Sets, Menus, Functions etc). - Should be familiar with Inventory/Costing transactions used in a typical supply chain flow. - Expertise in using Oracle tools like XML Publisher and Discoverer is a plus.Previous experience with Oracle Inventory, Bill Of Materials, Engineering, Cost Management applications 11i or above. Particular strength in Costing or Inventory modules, able to demonstrate knowledge. Familiar with all aspects of the applications. Should be technical but understand Functional issues/Business needs. Knowledge of open API's and interfaces. Familiar with setups and usage of Inventory Orgs, Items, Categories, Category Sets , Item Attributes etc. Familiar with standard and average costing methods , intercompany and sub ledger accounting. - Ability to troubleshoot complex issues involving multiple systems. - Working with geographically scattered teams in different locations and time zones - Flexibility to work on multiple areas and switch from one area to another depending on the priority and requirement. - Ability to work independently on projects and production support with minimum direction from management. - Working in collaboration with product development for resolving critical bugs and business users during UAT and post implementation support.
