| Job Function | The ALM team is looking for a full-time System Analyst ,Sr with good experience in Performance and Functional testing. The Job involves end to end test design/execution of Performance and functional tests for the ALM Suite of application. The ALM test functions include verifying functionality, application/system level feature testing, developing/executing test strategies and test plans, field log analysis, troubleshooting/analyzing problems, optimizing system performance, and improving the stability of the product. | |
| Responsibilities | Candidates will be responsible for Performance and Functional testing of ALM Suite of application during the release cycle. This person will also study new application level features and working closely with the development, admin and support teams to come up with comprehensive test strategies and evaluate them. The person will also apply subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks and resolve issues | |
| Basic Qualifications | Candidates with 5-8 years of work experience in web application testing. Ability to communicate clearly, organize effectively, and document work thoroughly is a must. Successful candidate must have strong communication skills, must be an effective team player, and be able to work independently. Should have good Performance and Automation experience along with exposure to manual testing -Experience in HP Loadrunner 11 and/or Performance Center and other performance related tools like JMeter, Sitescope -Experience in Automation tools like Quick Test Professional (QTP), Selenium. -Experience in conducting different types of performance tests: Load, Volume, Stress, Failover, Scalability etc -Experience in performance testing of web applications based on Java J2EE and web services, etc. -Experience in writing automation scripts to test applications / websites. -Good knowledge in Java and scripting languages like VB script, java script would be added advantage. -Ability to use and improve in-house automation framework using scripting language for automated functional testing. -Self-Starter who can jump in quickly without detailed directions. -Experience on projects using Agile/ Scrum methodology. -Should possess solid logic skills.. -Experience in defect/issue/bug tracking tools like JIRA. -Willing to work in a team. -Ability to be a quick-learner in a dynamic environment. -Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Software Engineering concepts. -Analyze and evaluate business logic and project requirements from the SRS. | |
| Education Requirements | Master's/Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience required. |
